在小组合作学习中，部分小学生没有养成自主学习的习惯，遇到困难并不善于寻找解决困难的途径，所以经常会有这部分学生在小组合作学习中游离于团体之外，最后只等结果，长此以往，容易形成思维的依赖性，也不利于独立习惯的养成。所以要学会分工，根据学生的特点从而分工明确。

要真正实现小组有效合作，确实使学生人人从合作学习中有所收获，有所得，务必给予学生充分独立思考的时间，尤其是涉及思维发散训练更需要让学生进行个体的独立观察、思考，否则这样的合作也只是空白，作为教师不必担心由于过多的讨论时间而影响了后面的教学进度。事实上，学生在小组讨论中锻炼的空间更大，发言的用心性更高，能让学生实在地多获得一些知识，这点“浪费”的时间是值得的。
